About me
I´m Industrial Engineering student, and I like to travel, but I don´t do it as much as i wish, I like all kind of travel. I like to taste new things, but I don´t like to know how they are made, because sometimes it can be gross, so if i liked it, I would not like any more. I don´t like to eat eggs, I don´t know why, I just stopped eating them sometime ago, and now I just can´t taste them; apart from that I eat almost everything that is cooked. When I travel I like to do it comfortably and without so much luggage.

Why
My country is a place of wondrous varety. It has many climates, and to each of them there are places that you would not dream existed. Everyone who knows just a little about Colombia thinks that all there is to it is Cartagena and other well known cities. Well, That is not the only place here. I´m going to write about San Agustin, because it is a place that is not very known, but where there is many things to do; from visiting archaeological parks to practicing water sports like rafting.

My personal experience

San Agustine is a municipality in Huila, Colombia, which had a chance to visit with my mother's family, who live in Neiva Huila. This experience was wonderful, from Neiva we traveled overland to San Augustine and we stayed in a hostel countryside, full of greenery, beautiful flowers and friendly, helpful people. In San  Augustine  we knew part of the story of our ancestors and  our guide told us that  was declared heritage of humanity, and  we practice rafting and ride.

Historic sites, which are outside the archaeological park, divided by the municipality, the first day we rode in a cavalcade. We left very early in the morning the temperature was still cold, because San Augustine has a temperate climate, and undertook a four-hour trip, visiting some sites with large statues, imposing, alluding to the gods, like Shakira, and related sites funeral rites, which had graves, with astrology, we saw how using high places of the mountain where the sun and the moon had interference on some of his sculptures, usually animal figures.

The second day, we visited the archaeological park, a place we visited in three hours, which are flat, forest and mountains of the statues, which is promoted by some steep steps.

The site plan, called tables, has many large stone statues and tombs. The forest is a place full of vegetation zones and many majestic and impressive sculptures, and the mountains, is a place that ends up as a plateau, flat on top, the guide said it was like the Internet of ancestors, because from there, watching all the different places where lived tribes, and then with a "horn" that blew, was summoned to meetings or tribal funerals.
